I have always been a dreamer
I believed they could come true
But I got older, I thought wiser
A little bitter a little blue.

In the midst of my confusion
I had tried to compromise
Thinking love was an illusion
Till I saw it in you eyes.

It took us
Above and beyond expectation
Above and beyond all my dreams
Above and beyond the situation
That found you here with me.

Above and beyond explanation
Above and beyond my belief
Though I prayed for my salvation
I never expected such relief.

You were always a believer
Always reaching for the truth
Now we know we've found the answer
Just touch me we've got proof.

Other people, they may doubt us
They may try to bring us down
