Just Like My Love

In the middle of an island off the coast of Maine
There's a pond they say ain't got no bottom
Rowed out in the middle with a thousand foot line
But that weight just kept on droppin'
Ain't that just like my love for you
Ain't that just like my love
Ain't that just like my love for you
It ain't got no bottom.
Out in California the redwoods grow tall
Reaching up for the sky
From a little seed 4,000 years ago
Now they're 30 feet wide, 350 high
Ain't that just like my love for you
Ain't that just like my love
Ain't that just like my love for you
It just keeps on growing.
There's a spring down Mexico way
Water as pure as angels tears
Source of life for that ancient town
It's been flowing 10,000 years
Ain't that just like my love for you
Ain't that just like my love
Ain't that just like my love for you
It just keeps on flowing.
Now I've been driving all around in my old Dodge Dart
Slant-six under the hood
Odometer just hit 200,000 miles
Body's shot but she's still running good
Ain't that just like my love for you
Ain't that just like my love
Ain't that just like my love for you
It just keeps on going . . .
Keeps on flowing
Keeps on growing
It ain't got no bottom.
